Rehema lives with her twin sister and wider family in the Kakuma refugee camp. Her sister Nyota also attends Tumaini. The sisters have to work to bring in extra income, as the family struggle to provide for them. Tragically, the girls have lost five siblings in recent years.

Rehema dreams of becoming a fashion designer when she leaves school.
