Yvonne lives with her mother, who recently gave birth to another child. Her mum previously earned a living through masonry work, but can no longer do this as she has a young baby. She does casual work when possible, but meeting the needs of the family has become very challenging.

Yvonne aspires to become an electrician when she finishes school.
